I hold a bachelor's degree and a license in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Brazil, and a PhD in Animal Biology from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. My research focuses on unraveling the acoustic, taxonomic, systematic, and evolutionary aspects of Neotropical frogs, with a particular emphasis on species within the genus Pseudopaludicola.
I have contributed as a reviewer for journals in the field of Herpetology, including Herpetologica, Zootaxa, ZooKeys, Bioacoustics, Scientific Reports, Herpetozoa, Phyllomedusa, Check List, North-Western Journal of Zoology, and Advances in Zoology. Following the defense of my doctoral thesis, I dedicated time to teaching biology at high schools in Ribeirão Preto-SP, namely Grupo Marista, SENAC SP, and Gabarito Sistema de Ensino. Furthermore, I served as a Senior Sustainability Analyst at Companhia Energética de São Paulo (CESP).
