I hold a bachelor's and a teaching degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and a PhD in Animal Biology from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. After completing my PhD, I taught high school biology in Ribeirão Preto and worked as a Senior Sustainability Analyst at Companhia Energética de São Paulo (CESP). Currently, I am a FAPESP-funded postdoctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP – Ribeirão Preto) and manage the Herpetological Collection of Ribeirão Preto (CHRP). I also work as the curator of the Amphibian Collection (ZUEC-AMP) at the Museum of Biological Diversity (MDBio), Institute of Biology – UNICAMP.
My research explores the acoustic, taxonomic, systematic, and evolutionary aspects of Neotropical frogs, with a particular focus on Pseudopaludicola species. I have reviewed for several scientific journals, including Scientific Reports, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society, Herpetologica, The Herpetological Journal, The Herpetological Bulletin, Zootaxa, ZooKeys, Bioacoustics, and PeerJ.
